Onsite team training and one-to-one coaching, online or in person

Business English classes in the UAE

Business English is the language your promotion is written in. In UAE offices where the team is ten nationalities and the shared language is English, the person who sends a clear email and runs a calm meeting gets noticed first. We train that skill for individuals and for whole teams, built around the emails, meetings and clients you deal with every week.

Why Business English decides promotions in the UAE

In most UAE companies, English is the language of management, so the people who move up are usually the ones who communicate cleanly, not only the ones who do the technical work well.

Strong technical work gets you hired. Clear business English is what gets you seen. Dubai and Abu Dhabi hold the regional headquarters of banks, consultancies, airlines and tech firms, and those offices run on English across teams that speak a dozen first languages. The day you step into a client-facing role or start leading a team, the job stops being mostly technical and becomes mostly communication.

Here is the part people underrate. When a senior manager reads your email, your report or your slide, they are judging your thinking through your English. A proposal that reads well signals a person who is ready for more responsibility. A meeting you chair without losing the room does the same. That is why two people with the same skills can sit at very different rungs: one writes and speaks like a manager, the other does not yet.

If your everyday fluency still needs building before you polish the workplace layer, start with our spoken English classes in the UAE, which are the foundation this course sits on. And if your promotion depends on a licence or registration that asks for a formal score, we also run IELTS coaching in the UAE alongside the business work.

What we cover

We work through the exact situations your role throws at you, and each one has a clear outcome you can feel at work.

Workplace scenario What changes for you
Email and messaging Short, clear emails that get a reply the same day and never read as rude by accident
Meetings and calls Speak up, disagree politely and summarise decisions so nothing is lost on the call
Presentations Open strong, tell the story behind the numbers and handle questions without freezing
Negotiation and client talk Ask for what you need, push back on price and keep the relationship warm
Reports and proposals Structure a document so a busy reader gets the point in the first two lines
Cross-cultural communication Read tone and directness across nationalities so your message lands the way you meant it

We do not cover all six at once. At the demo we find the one or two that are costing you most right now and start there. In very mixed teams, tone is half the battle, and staff who also want the local language often add our Arabic classes in the UAE on the side.

For individuals and for teams

We run Business English two ways in the UAE: corporate training built for a company, and one-to-one coaching built for one person. Both are shaped around real work, not a generic textbook.

Team and corporate training

We deliver at your office in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, or live online, and build every session around your company’s own emails, decks and client calls. Timing fits around shifts, and we report progress back to HR or L and D so the spend is easy to justify.

One-to-one coaching

Private sessions built around your role and the level a promotion or a move abroad actually asks for. You set the pace, we bring your real documents into the room, and every hour goes on the skill you need most.

Teams that mix strong and shaky speakers usually start with a short group programme, then move a few key people into one-to-one work. Where general fluency is the gap for part of the team, we blend in spoken English so everyone reaches the same base before the business layer goes on top.

Industries we support in the UAE

The English that matters changes with the job. We tailor the vocabulary, the documents and the role-plays to your sector.

Banking and finance

Client updates, credit notes and compliance emails that stay clear to auditors and clients alike.

Real estate

Pitching to buyers and investors, running viewings and closing across many nationalities.

Hospitality and tourism

Front-of-house and management English for guests, agents and international teams.

Healthcare administration

Clear patient-facing and inter-department communication for admin, reception and coordination staff. For clinical licensing scores we point you to IELTS.

Technology

Standups, sprint reviews, documentation and client demos said in plain, confident English.

Retail

Customer service, supplier emails and short, clear briefings for the floor team.

How we measure progress

We measure progress on your real work, not on a textbook chapter. That means a clear starting point, a target, and a before-and-after you can actually see.

Before the first lesson we look at something real: an email you sent last week, a slide from your last deck, or a few minutes of you explaining a project out loud. From that we place you on the CEFR scale, the international level system that runs from A1 up to C2. Most working professionals sit between B1 and C1, and the jump from B2 to C1 is usually where a role starts to feel comfortable in English.

Then the work is task-based. We pick the tasks your job depends on, a client proposal, a status meeting, a negotiation, and we practise those specific things until they hold up under pressure. Later we redo the same task and put the two side by side. You do not have to take our word for it, because your rewritten email is sitting next to the first one.

We do not hand you an invented percentage or a badge. The proof is the work. And if your goal also needs a formal certificate for a visa or a licence, we will steer you to the right exam, whether that is IELTS or the faster computer-based PTE coaching in the UAE, and prepare you for it.

Where we run training across the UAE

We deliver across the country. Most corporate sessions run in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where the regional offices sit, with teams in Sharjah and the northern emirates joining on-site or online. Wherever your office is, the plan and the coaching stay the same, and live online classes let a team split across two emirates learn in the same room. You can see the full range of what we run on our English classes in the UAE hub.

What Business English costs in the UAE

Business English usually costs more per hour than a general conversation class, because it is specialist work with senior professionals, and the commercial value is high. One confident negotiation, one clean board presentation or one proposal that wins the account can be worth many times the fee. That is worth keeping in mind when you compare a price tag.

For individuals, one-to-one business coaching in the UAE generally runs from about AED 130 to AED 300 an hour, and short group courses from roughly AED 1,500 to AED 4,000 depending on hours and level. For teams, we price the whole programme per group rather than per seat, based on headcount, the number of sessions and whether we run at your office or online.

Format Typical AED range Best for
One-to-one coaching AED 130 to 300 per hour Managers and client-facing roles
Small group course AED 1,500 to 4,000 Individuals sharing one goal
Corporate on-site team Quoted per team Whole departments, tailored to your work

We quote in AED after a demo, once we have seen the current level and what the role actually demands, so a company pays for the programme it needs and an individual pays for the hours they will use.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about this course, answered plainly.

1How is Business English different from general English classes?

General classes build everyday fluency. Business English takes that base and trains the specific tasks your job runs on: emails, meetings, presentations, negotiation and reports. If your everyday English still needs work, we start you on spoken English first, then add the business layer on top.

2Do you train teams on-site at our office in the UAE?

Yes. We run corporate training at offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and live online for teams split across locations. Every session is built around your own documents, clients and industry, and we report progress back to HR or L and D.

3Are classes online or in person?

Both. Individuals often prefer evening or weekend online coaching without a commute, while companies mix on-site workshops with online follow-ups. The plan and the feedback are the same either way.

4Which English level do I need for business, and do you use CEFR?

Yes, we place you on the CEFR scale at the start. Most professionals sit between B1 and C1, and comfortable business English usually means moving from B2 toward C1. We set a target level and the exact tasks you want to improve.

5How long until I see a difference at work?

Small wins like sharper emails come within the first few sessions. A visible shift in meetings and presentations usually takes a few weeks of regular practice on your real tasks. We set a realistic timeline at the demo, not a sales one.

6Can you tailor the course to our industry?

Yes. We adapt the vocabulary, documents and role-plays to banking and finance, real estate, hospitality, healthcare administration, technology or retail, using scenarios your staff actually meet.

7How much do Business English classes cost in the UAE?

One-to-one coaching generally runs from about AED 130 to 300 an hour and short group courses from roughly AED 1,500 to 4,000, while corporate programmes are quoted per team. We give a clear AED quote after a demo.
